As a kid, I loved nothing more than learning about the world around me.While some of my senses (and reflexes) have dulled with age, my curiosity is sharper than ever before.

And that quest for answers has taken me to some unusual places. At seven, I took a peek behind the curtains – quite literally – at a Native American reservation…

A decade later it led me to the USSR, where I talked to black marketeers in Russia, young pioneers in Siberia and yak herders in Kazakhstan.

And that desire to know more has only grown stronger. In my 30s, I trained as a journalist – allowing me to probe with purpose. That was when I realised that one person’s curiosity is another’s research.

In my 40s, after a decade working in PR (as a “forklift geek”), I established my own B2B content writing agency: KC Copywriting.
